The 29th Olympic Games will be inaugurated in Beijing on 8 August 2008 and held over 16 days. The upcoming Games will feature athletes from all over the world and help promote the Olympic spirit. During the week of July 21 to July 25, the ESL class we be introduced to the Olympic vocabulary and activities. We will talk about sports we like and dislike; talents and abilities. We will ask about and describe routines and exercise, we will read descriptions of sports participation. We will continue working on the simple present Wh-questions; can for ability; adverbs of frequency: always, almost always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, hardly ever, almost never, never; questions with how: how often, how much time, how long, how well, how good.

Mi experiencia en el Campamento
Yo tuve una buena experiencia en estas 4 semanas en el campamento de verano. Yo aprendí mucho español, fue una experiencia muy divertida. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver una obra de teatro galita, almorzar en Cactus Cantina, proyectos de arte, diseñar tu camiseta y tu bolsa usando vocabulario, verbos, adjetivos. Me gusto mucho aprender español por medio de juegos, me encanto hacer amigos. (Cozette)
